Edmonton Oilers forward Adam Henrique is sidelined with a lower-body injury and is not expected to participate in the Game 1 of the Western Conference second-round playoff series against the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night.

The coach of the Oilers, Kris Knoblauch, mentioned that Henrique did not practice with the team on Tuesday and is currently listed as "day-to-day."

Mattias Janmark is poised to step in for Henrique, taking over his spot on Edmonton's top line as the best-of-seven series gets underway.

Henrique, who is 34 years old, contributed a goal and an assist in the first round against the Los Angeles Kings. Throughout the regular season, he amassed a total of 51 points, splitting his contributions between the Oilers and the Anaheim Ducks with 24 goals and 27 assists.
