Philadelphia Flyers goaltending prospect Alexei Kolosov is set to join training camp after missing the first week due to unspecified issues.
His agent, Dan Milstein, confirmed that all matters have been settled and Kolosov is keen to be with the team.
The 22-year-old Belarusian, who signed an entry-level contract in 2023, appeared in two AHL games for Philadelphia's affiliate before heading back home. He is highly regarded as a top prospect in his position.
Flyers general manager Daniel Briere expects Kolosov to meet his contractual commitments for this season and next.
Samuel Ersson and Ivan Fedotov are anticipated to share goaltending duties in Philadelphia, with Kolosov poised to be the primary call-up from the minors.
The Flyers have also added Finnish goaltender Eetu Makiniemi on a one-year contract to strengthen their organizational depth.
