The Anaheim Ducks have entered into an agreement with A Parent Media Co., allowing all their games to be streamed for free on the Victory+ streaming service. Additionally, 65 games will be broadcast on a Los Angeles over-the-air channel.
The Ducks' agreement with Diamond Sports Group ended after the 2023-24 season. Previously, their games were shown on Bally Sports West.
This offseason, the Ducks are the third NHL team to revise their broadcast model. The Florida Panthers will shift their local broadcasts to Scripps Sports, and the Dallas Stars will likewise stream games regionally on Victory+.
Los Angeles over-the-air games will be available on Fox 11 Plus (KCOP Channel 13).
The broadcast announcers have not yet been confirmed, though it is expected that Brian Hayward will remain as the analyst and John Ahlers will continue as the play-by-play announcer.
The Victory+ streaming application will become available for download on smart TVs, tablets, and smartphones in September. It will be free to use and supported by advertisements.
Diamond Sports Group, the distributor of the Bally networks, has been undergoing bankruptcy proceedings since last March. The company will still carry games for eight NHL teams during the 2024-25 season, including the Los Angeles Kings.
