Andrei Vasilevskiy achieved his 300th NHL win with 24 saves, helping the Tampa Bay Lightning end Winnipeg's seven-game winning streak with a 4-1 victory at home.
Vasilevskiy became the 40th goaltender to reach 300 wins in just 490 games, surpassing Jacques Plante's previous record by 31 games.
It was only Winnipeg's second defeat in 17 games this season, bringing their away record to 7-1.
Jake Guentzel was the standout for the Lightning with two goals, their first against Winnipeg in five games. Brandon Hagel and Anthony Cirelli also found the net for Tampa Bay.
Adam Lowry scored for Winnipeg, while backup goalie Eric Comrie made 25 saves but experienced his first loss of the season.
The Jets struggled as their leading power play couldn't score on any of their five chances.
The Lightning achieved their first win of the month after going without a win in the previous four games.
Anthony Cirelli's power-play goal early in the second period ended Tampa Bay's 17-game home power-play drought this season.
Vasilevskiy's latest win was just his fifth in 13 career encounters with the Jets.
Next, the Jets will face Florida on Saturday, while the Lightning will play against New Jersey the same day.
