Anaheim Ducks News & Updates

Anthony Cirelli's goal just 59 seconds into overtime delivered a 3-2 win for Tampa Bay against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday evening. This victory helped the Lightning extend their points streak to seven consecutive games.

An errant pass from Mason McTavish towards Alex Killorn deflected off a skate, leading to a breakaway for Cirelli and Brandon Hagel. Cirelli then exchanged passes with Hagel, setting up Cirelli to score his fourth regular-season overtime goal of his career.

Other contributors to Tampa Bay's victory included Anthony Duclair and Luke Glendening scoring goals, while Ross Johnston and Pavel Mintyukov scored for the Ducks.

In goal, Jonas Johansson made 30 saves for Tampa Bay, and Lukas Dostal had 25 saves for Anaheim.

Since coming to the Lightning, Duclair has notched points in seven straight games, tying him with Chris Tierney of Ottawa for the second-longest points streak at the start of a tenure with a franchise.

Looking ahead, Tampa Bay is set to play against Boston on Wednesday night, and the Ducks will be facing off against Seattle on Tuesday night.
