The Colorado Avalanche announced on Sunday that Jonathan Drouin has been moved to injured reserve following an upper-body injury he sustained during the season opener against the Vegas Golden Knights on October 9th.
At 29 years old, Drouin has accumulated a total of 337 career points while playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Montreal Canadiens, and Colorado Avalanche.
To fill Drouin's spot, Chris Wagner, a seasoned player with 11 years of experience, has been called up from the Colorado Eagles. The 33-year-old Wagner has achieved 65 career points during his time with the Anaheim Ducks, Colorado Avalanche, New York Islanders, and Boston Bruins.
