Avalanche Trade for Goaltender Kevin Mandolese from Senators to Bolster Roster Depth

The Colorado Avalanche have secured the rights to goaltender Kevin Mandolese, a restricted free agent, from the Ottawa Senators.

As part of the deal, the Avalanche traded a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft to the Senators, who also provided a seventh-round pick in the same draft.

Mandolese, aged 23, played three games for Ottawa in the 2022-23 season, achieving a 1-2-0 record, with a goals-against average of 3.29 and a save percentage of .916.

Hailing from Quebec, Mandolese has a career record of 28-28-5, a 3.30 GAA, and a .896 save percentage over 66 games with the Belleville Senators in the AHL.
