In the second period, Kirill Marchenko and Yegor Chinakhov scored, propelling Columbus to a 6-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
Both Marchenko and Chinakhov contributed two assists, while Sean Monahan also netted a goal and provided two assists.
Additional goals for the Blue Jackets came from Zach Werenski, Kent Johnson, and Adam Fantilli.
For the Avalanche, Nathan MacKinnon, Miles Wood, Casey Mittelstadt, and Ross Colton found the back of the net. Alexandar Georgiev faced nine shots, conceding three goals before Justus Annunen took his place.
