St. Louis Blues News & Updates

Robert Thomas led the charge with two goals during power plays in the final period, propelling the St. Louis Blues to a win of 4-2 against the Anaheim Ducks. The Blues also saw Jake Neighbours netting a goal during a power play, and Kevin Hayes found the back of the net in the second period.

The Blues extended their winning streak to four games, despite Troy Terry’s efforts, who scored both of Anaheim's goals. Terry’s performance broke a three-game scoring drought for the Ducks, who are now on a six-game losing streak.

In the third period, St. Louis capitalized on the six penalties called against Anaheim, with Thomas finding the goal early at 1:53 and later at 9:31. Neighbours scored by redirecting a shot at 6:12.

Joel Hofer of St. Louis stopped 26 shots, while Anaheim’s Lukas Dostal made 23 saves. Hayes managed to even the score to 1-1 during the second period following a rebound from Torey Krug’s shot, after Terry had earlier given the Ducks a lead in the first period.

Both teams are set to return to action on Tuesday, with the Ducks welcoming Minnesota and the Blues playing against Colorado at home.
