Vancouver Canucks News & Updates

The future of Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser's participation is in doubt due to complications from a condition related to blood clotting. His presence in the decisive seventh game of the playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers, set for Monday, is not expected.

At 27, Boeser has been a standout performer in the postseason for Vancouver, topping the team's scoring chart with seven goals and a total of 12 points. He achieved personal bests in the regular season with 40 goals, 73 points, and participation in 81 games.

Vancouver has also seen the loss of their main goalie, Thatcher Demko, to an injury he suffered to his knee during these playoffs. Demko was among the nominees for the Vezina Trophy, awarded annually to the best goaltender in the NHL.

The team victorious in Monday's Game 7 will advance to contest the Dallas Stars in the finals of the Western Conference.
