Bruins Defeat Flyers 3-0 as Korpisalo Secures Shutout Victory

Joonas Korpisalo of Boston achieved his first shutout of the season by making 20 saves, contributing to their 3-0 win against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Bruins, who had been experiencing a slump, showed dominance with goals from Matthew Poitras, Justin Brazeau, and Brad Marchand.

Korpisalo particularly stood out during the second period, denying the Flyers crucial scoring opportunities and prolonging Philadelphia's stretch without a win.

In terms of scoring, Poitras started it off for Boston, followed by Brazeau, and finally, Marchand sealed the win with a goal into an empty net.

For the Flyers, Morgan Frost continued to face challenges, missing chances and hitting the post.

After Sam Ersson left due to injury, Alexei Kolosov took over. He made 20 saves but couldn't stop Boston’s offensive onslaught.

Boston will compete against Seattle on Sunday, whereas the Flyers will kick off a three-game road trip in Carolina on Tuesday.
