New York Islanders News & Updates

In an exhilarating finale of the series, the Minnesota Wild turned around a 3-1 deficit to secure a 5-3 victory against the St. Louis Blues on the road in Game 7.

With an outstanding performance by goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who stopped 30 shots, the Wild demonstrated their tenacity and determination. Tyson Jost kickstarted the rally with a second-period goal, followed by contributions from Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov.

During the third period, Jordan Greenway and Joel Eriksson Ek scored pivotal goals to increase the Wild's lead. Vladimir Tarasenko tried to inspire a late surge for the Blues with a goal, but it was ultimately in vain.

This win signifies the Wild's first series win since 2015 and propels them into the second round of the playoffs, where they will go up against the Colorado Avalanche.
