The Montreal Canadiens have brought up Logan Mailloux from the AHL with the approval of the league, after his previous disciplinary action for disseminating a photo without consent.
In 2020, Mailloux faced a suspension and was penalized by Swedish authorities for his actions. He was subsequently allowed back into play and has made a name for himself in the minor leagues, achieving All-Star status with the Laval Rocket.
The league has acknowledged that following discussions with Mailloux, they are convinced he has grasped the seriousness of his conduct and is dedicated to rectifying his mistakes.
Mailloux has shown remorse for his past actions and has sought therapy and counseling. He has also engaged in a program designed for his personal growth.
