Canucks' Dakota Joshua Reveals Testicular Cancer Diagnosis, Plans Comeback for 2024-25 Season

This summer, Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had surgery to remove a tumor.

At 28 years old, Joshua is recovering from the operation and aims to play in the 2024-25 season. He found a lump on his testicle, which was subsequently identified as cancerous.

Joshua has expressed gratitude for his support system and is diligently working to return to play as soon as possible this season.

Beginning his NHL career in the 2020-21 season with the St. Louis Blues, Joshua later joined the Vancouver Canucks as a free agent.

Last season, Joshua played 63 games and achieved career highs with 18 goals, 14 assists, and 32 points.

He encourages men to undergo regular checks for testicular cancer, highlighting the importance of early detection.
