Washington Capitals secured a 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars, putting an end to the Stars' four-game winning streak, with goals from Tom Wilson, Dylan Strome, and Taylor Raddysh.

Despite their loss, the Dallas Stars finalized a contract extension with Jake Oettinger, ensuring their top goalkeeper remains with the team until 2033.

Although Alex Ovechkin didn’t score, he delivered a strong performance for the Capitals, and Martin Fehervary's crucial shot-blocking towards the game's end was key to their victory.

John Carlson's ice time for the Capitals was reduced to under 25 minutes compared to his previous 27 minutes against Vegas.

Upcoming games see the Dallas Stars taking on Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers, while the Capitals will head to New Jersey for their second divisional matchup this season against the Devils.
