Andrei Svechnikov's remarkable lacrosse-style goal sparked a 4-1 victory for the Carolina Hurricanes against the Boston Bruins on a recent Tuesday. Besides his spectacular goal, Svechnikov also provided an assist. Additional goals came from Teuvo Teravainen, Jake Guentzel, and Seth Jarvis, contributing to the win. In net, Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 22 shots for the Hurricanes.

Having achieved their 50th win, the Hurricanes are now only three points away from surpassing the New York Rangers for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins' Charlie McAvoy managed to score, halting their winning streak at four but they remain atop the Atlantic Division.

During the game, the Hurricanes showed their dominance in the second period by outshooting the Bruins 15-6 and continued to control the game into the third period. The victory comes as part of a four-game road trip that will round off their regular season schedule.

The Hurricanes are set to play in St. Louis on the upcoming Friday, meanwhile, the Bruins are scheduled to meet Pittsburgh on Saturday.
