In Raleigh, North Carolina, the Carolina Hurricanes marked their homecoming with a decisive and impressive 8-2 win against the Boston Bruins. This victory extended their winning streak to five games. Jack Roslovic and Andrei Svechnikov each scored twice, and Martin Necas added a goal along with an assist.

The first period saw the Hurricanes in complete control, netting three goals in just 52 seconds. Dmitry Orlov, Sean Walker, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi also contributed with goals, while Seth Jarvis provided two assists. For the Hurricanes, Pyotr Kochetkov made a total of 13 saves.
