Carolina Hurricanes News & Updates

Jesper Fast, a forward for the Carolina Hurricanes, will be sidelined for the entirety of the upcoming season following neck surgery he had last month.

The 32-year-old player sustained the injury during the final game of the regular season in April, which caused him to miss the Hurricanes' playoff journey that concluded in the second round.

After the injury, Fast experienced neck stiffness and had to wear a neck brace. Ongoing tests and evaluations were being carried out at that time.

Fast described this period as one of the most challenging in his career. Last season, he notched six goals and 13 assists over 73 games.
