Carolina Hurricanes Secure Stanley Cup Champ William Carrier with Six-Year, $12 Million Contract Extension

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed 29-year-old forward William Carrier to a six-year contract worth $12 million, extending through the 2029-30 season.

Carrier, a 2023 Stanley Cup champion, recorded six goals and two assists for the Vegas Golden Knights in the previous season.

Although an injury sidelined him for part of the season, he ranked fifth among Vegas forwards in hits, accumulating 90.

Eric Tulsky, the general manager of the Hurricanes, commended Carrier's physical play, persistent forechecking, and veteran presence.

Carrier's career statistics include 107 points, made up of 58 goals and 49 assists, over 413 games with the Buffalo Sabres and the Vegas Golden Knights.
