In Seattle, Seth Jarvis scored one goal and provided an assist, helping the Carolina Hurricanes secure a 4-1 win against the Seattle Kraken. This marked Carolina's third consecutive victory.
Carolina also saw goals from Andrei Svechnikov, Dmitry Orlov, and Jack Drury, achieving their fifth win in a span of six games. Frederik Anderson protected the Hurricanes' net with 18 saves.
Jarvis increased Carolina's lead to 3-1 with less than five minutes left, and Orlov sealed the win with a goal on an empty net.
Although Jared McCann scored for the Kraken, Seattle experienced their third straight defeat. Joey Daccord made 35 saves for Seattle.
The Hurricanes' penalty-kill team was effective once again, stopping all three of Seattle's power-play chances.
The Kraken had several opportunities but struggled to score. A notable moment came when Matty Beniers missed an open goal, allowing Jarvis to take advantage and change the game's momentum in favor of Carolina.
Carolina had a dominant start, outshooting Seattle 14-5 in the first period. They will finish their six-game road trip in Vancouver, while Seattle will travel to Montreal.
