Carson Soucy of Vancouver Receives One Game Suspension for Cross-Checking Incident Involving McDavid

In Game 3 of the playoff series, Carson Soucy, a defenseman for the Vancouver Canucks, received a one-game suspension for delivering a cross-check to Connor McDavid's face.
The event took place at the game's conclusion, with the Canucks ahead 4-3. While Zadorov's cross-check on McDavid played a role in the situation, the Player Safety committee considered Soucy's action as a distinct offense meriting disciplinary action.
As a result of Soucy's suspension, he will be absent for Game 4, a critical match the Canucks are leading the series 2-1 in.
Despite the occurrence, McDavid reported feeling fine and highlighted the series' inherently rough nature.
