Chicago Blackhawks Strengthen NHL Roster with New Contracts for Zach Sanford and Martin Misiak

The Chicago Blackhawks have brought forwards Zach Sanford and Martin Misiak onto their roster with new contracts.

Sanford's contract is a one-year, two-way deal with an NHL cap hit of $775,000, while Misiak has secured a three-year, entry-level contract carrying an $878,333 cap hit.

During the season, Sanford divided his time between Arizona and Chicago, recording six assists over 29 games. Additionally, he added four goals and six assists in the American Hockey League.

At 29 years old, Sanford was originally drafted by Washington in 2013 and has since played for several NHL teams, compiling 49 goals and 55 assists over his career.

Misiak, a 19-year-old selected by the Blackhawks in the 2022 NHL draft, scored 23 goals this season while playing for Erie in the Ontario Hockey League.
