Chicago Blackhawks News & Updates

In Chicago's home opener, power-play goals from Tyler Bertuzzi and Nick Foligno secured a 4-2 victory over San Jose.

Taylor Hall, Jason Dickinson, Connor Bedard, and Teuvo Teravainen all played pivotal roles with goals and assists. Hall scored his first goal since November, and Teravainen has been impressive offensively after joining Chicago as a free agent.

San Jose experienced a difficult first period, registering only four shots on goal. Although they showed improvement in the second half, they were unable to put significant pressure on Chicago.

Jason Dickinson's goal, set up by Joey Anderson, increased Chicago's lead to 4-1 in the third period.

Chicago has shown strength on the power play, recording multiple goals in two of their five games so far this season.

San Jose is set to play against the Winnipeg Jets on Friday, while Chicago will take on the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.
