Colorado Avalanche Triumph Over Detroit Red Wings Thanks to Nichushkin's Heroics and Makar's Power Play Skills

Cale Makar contributed with a power-play goal that put Colorado ahead, leading all NHL defensemen with a total of 35 points. Lucas Raymond found the net for Detroit, but the team has now suffered five consecutive losses, each by a single goal.

Despite a shaky performance in Buffalo, Georgiev redeemed himself, while Detroit's offense continued to falter, even against teams with less formidable defenses.
