In Edmonton, the Dallas Stars triumphed over the Edmonton Oilers with a 5-3 win, thanks to Jason Robertson's first-career playoff hat trick in the third period. Dallas also saw goals from Wyatt Johnston and Miro Heiskanen. Roope Hintz, Tyler Seguin, and Jamie Benn each contributed with two assists, and Jake Oettinger made 26 saves for the team.

For the Oilers, Connor McDavid's goal and assist brought his career playoff points to 100. Zach Hyman and Adam Henrique also found the back of the net, while Stuart Skinner made 17 saves.

Dallas's victory allowed them to regain home-ice advantage and improved their playoff road record to 6-1. Roope Hintz made a return to the lineup after being sidelined by an injury sustained in the second round.

Adam Henrique also rejoined the Oilers after missing seven games due to an ankle injury.

Following a strong start by Edmonton, Robertson broke a 3-3 tie in the third period, with Heiskanen clinching the win with an empty-net goal.

The series continues with Game 4 on Wednesday night.
