Dallas Stars Inspired by Mavericks’ NBA Finals Triumph to Pursue Stanley Cup Glory

The Mavericks from Dallas are making history by advancing to the NBA Finals.
Inspired by this success, Jamie Benn, captain of the Dallas Stars, believes it will motivate his team to aim for the NHL finals.
In the history of sports, no city's teams have ever won both the NBA and NHL championships in the same year.
The Mavericks and Stars both play at the American Airlines Center. Fans of the Mavericks were already lining up for NBA Finals tickets while the Stars were practicing on the ice.
Dallas has been on a streak of success, with the Rangers winning the World Series last year, the Stars reaching the Western Conference Finals, and now the Mavericks moving forward in the NBA Finals.
Defenseman Chris Tanev of the Stars is uncertain for Game 5 after injuring his foot in Game 4.
Jamie Benn commends Tanev for his determination to play through his injury.
