Having signed with the Red Wings this summer, Campbell is the first player to be reported as joining the program this fall.
The 32-year-old goaltender has played for five different NHL teams, including the Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers.
