In overtime, Simon Edvinsson netted a goal, leading the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

For Detroit, Patrick Kane and Jonatan Berggren also scored, and Cam Talbot recorded 32 saves, marking his 250th career victory.

Pittsburgh saw goals from Anthony Beauvillier and Bryan Rust as they recovered from a heavy defeat to Dallas but fell short in overtime. Alex Nedeljkovic made 28 saves for Pittsburgh.

During the overtime period, Alex DeBrincat assisted Edvinsson, who secured the victory with a wrist shot past Nedeljkovic.

Pittsburgh has managed to earn points in 13 of its last 15 matchups against Detroit, maintaining a 10-game home point streak against the Red Wings.

The Red Wings will continue their road trip with a game against Anaheim on Friday, while the Penguins will face Columbus on the same day.
