Dylan Wendt Signs Two-Year Deal with New Jersey Devils, Former WMU Forward Joins NHL Team

The New Jersey Devils have signed Dylan Wendt, a prominent college free agent and forward from Western Michigan University, to a two-year deal.

Wendt will start off with the Devils' AHL team, the Utica Comets, on an amateur tryout agreement. His formal contract with the Devils is set to commence in the 2024-25 season.

This season, Wendt has distinguished himself as a leading scorer, netting 23 goals and earning 44 points over 38 games. His achievements include leading WMU and the nation in shooting percentage, significantly aiding his team's performance and their prolonged journey in the NCAA Division I men's tournament.
