Florida Panthers News & Updates

In the fourth game of the Stanley Cup Finals, the Edmonton Oilers managed to score five goals against the Florida Panthers goalie, Sergei Bobrovsky, leading to his substitution.

Anthony Stolarz, who was making his postseason debut, also had difficulties, conceding three goals as the Panthers were defeated 8-1. Although the Panthers entered the series with a 3-0 lead, they now risk losing on their home turf come Tuesday night.

Bobrovsky, previously a dependable last line of defense, allowed five goals from just 16 shots. The Oilers grabbed an early advantage with goals by Mattias Janmark, Adam Henrique, and Dylan Holloway, who found the net thanks to Leon Draisaitl's first point of the series.

Connor McDavid and Darnell Nurse each scored in the second period, resulting in Bobrovsky being pulled from the game. He played only 24 minutes and 53 seconds, marking his second-shortest start in the playoffs.

Despite being on the brink of elimination, the Oilers remain optimistic, convinced that they can turn the series around by winning one game at a time.
