Leon Draisaitl led the charge with a trio of points, including two goals and an assist, while Zach Hyman also lit the lamp twice, propelling the Edmonton Oilers to a commanding 6-1 win against the Los Angeles Kings.

Both Connor McDavid, with a goal and two assists, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, accumulating three assists, delivered three-point performances in the victory. Notably, McDavid became the first player to achieve eight assists in the first three playoff games since Wayne Gretzky in 1987.

Evander Kane added to Edmonton's offensive onslaught with a goal and assist, as Stuart Skinner put up a stout defense between the pipes, denying 27 attempts. This decisive win represents the second time in three seasons that the Oilers have overwhelmed the Kings at home during Game 3.

The Kings' sole goal came from Drew Doughty, while goalie Cam Talbot was tested 35 times. The fourth game in the series is set for Sunday evening.

The Oilers showcased their power play prowess, successfully converting three opportunities, bringing their series total to 7 out of 15. Hyman, following his hat trick in the first game, leads the postseason in goals with six and has accumulated seven points overall.

Draisaitl entered the NHL record books as the quickest to score 20 career playoff goals on the road, reaching this mark in just 26 games.

Meanwhile, Kings captain Anze Kopitar made his 95th playoff appearance, overtaking Luc Robitaille to become the franchise's playoff appearance leader.
