Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov have joined the Boston Bruins with Lindholm signing a seven-year contract worth $7.75 million annually and Zadorov agreeing to a six-year deal valued at $5 million annually.
This marks their third team together in a single year, having previously played for the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks.
Lindholm addresses a need at the center position after the retirements of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, while Zadorov bolsters the defensive lineup, joining Brandon Carlo, Hampus Lindholm, and Charlie McAvoy.
Despite a dip in Lindholm's offensive output during the 2023-24 season, he redeemed himself in the playoffs by scoring 10 points over 13 games.
Zadorov made a significant impact in the playoffs with his offensive and physical play, which ultimately led to his being acquired by the Bruins.
