Boston Bruins News & Updates

Sam Reinhart played a crucial role in guiding the Florida Panthers to a 4-3 win against the Boston Bruins on Monday. During the second period, Reinhart netted both a power play and a short-handed goal, securing a lead Florida would maintain for the rest of the game.

Anton Lundell also contributed with two goals for Florida, and Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 25 shots. For Boston, Mason Lohrei, Johnny Beecher, and Mark Kastelic found the back of the net, while Jeremy Swyaman recorded 22 saves in their defeat.

Despite the absence of captain Aleksandr Barkov and forward Matthew Tkachuk due to injuries, Florida demonstrated their strength. Boston faced challenges with turnovers, including one that enabled Reinhart to score a pivotal second goal.

Lundell's second goal, assisted by Gustav Forsling, expanded Florida's advantage to 4-2. Reinhart's initial goal occurred just six seconds into a power play.

The Panthers will head to Columbus on Tuesday, whereas the Bruins are set to play in Colorado on Wednesday.
