Florida Panthers News & Updates

The Florida Panthers have demonstrated impressive performance on the ice, needing just one more victory to make it to the Stanley Cup Final once more. Off the ice, the team's achievements are equally notable.

Anticipating a sellout crowd for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals, the Panthers have already outdone all previous seasons in home attendance. In the last two years, ticket revenue has escalated by 50%.

Paul Maurice, the Panthers' coach, noted that winning and building a strong program helps expand the fan base. He emphasized their aim to offer an exciting hockey experience and to be a franchise others look up to.

Previously burdened by relocation rumors and low attendance, the Panthers have completely turned things around. Approaching their 50th home game of the season, they are on track to potentially surpass 1 million in total attendance for the first time.

Captain Aleksander Barkov praised the fans, acknowledging their incredible support throughout the entire season.

This season, the Panthers have recorded the highest increase in average home attendance, with a 12% rise over the previous year and a 25% increase over the last two years. Corporate partnership revenue has also surged, growing by more than 120% since 2022.

The team’s recent accomplishments have not only boosted their finances but also led to the construction of a new downtown practice facility equipped with public amenities. Maurice remarked that their goal is to offer an entertaining experience for fans, and believes the players successfully deliver on that promise.
