Golden Knights' Howden Scores Late to Secure 4-3 Victory Over League-Leading Jets, Marking Fourth Win in Five Games

Brett Howden netted the decisive goal with 4:05 left in the third period, securing a 4-3 win for the Vegas Golden Knights against the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night. Howden's goal ended a 3-3 deadlock.
Ivan Barbashev contributed two goals for the Golden Knights, marking their fourth win in five games. Adin Hill successfully stopped 22 shots.
Cole Perfetti scored twice for the Jets, and Neal Pionk added a goal in a game that marked their third loss in four games. Eric Comrie made 26 saves for Winnipeg.
A pivotal play happened when William Karlsson managed the puck and delivered a no-look, backhand pass through the slot, setting up Howden’s crucial goal.
Barbashev increased his point streak to five games, during which he has tallied four goals and six assists. He and Pavel Dorofeyev now share the team lead with 12 goals each.
Karlsson reached his 700th career game, becoming the second player in Golden Knights history to achieve this milestone.
The Jets are set to play in Dallas on Sunday, while the Golden Knights are preparing to host Utah on Saturday.
