Vegas Golden Knights News & Updates

In Las Vegas, rapid goals by Tomas Hertl and Keegan Kolesar put the Golden Knights ahead, leading them to a 6-4 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

Ivan Barbashev scored twice, complemented by points from Nicolas Roy, Nicolas Hague, Alex Pietrangelo, Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, and Tanner Pearson. Adin Hill's 34 saves ensured his third win of the season.

The Golden Knights continued their strong offensive performance, maintaining an average of 4.37 goals per game.

Although Ottawa was ahead early and led after two periods, they were unable to stop the fourth-highest scoring team in the league, the Golden Knights.

Despite a strong record in prior matches against Vegas, Ottawa's goalie Ullmark allowed five goals on Friday, contrasting with the three he conceded in his previous two starts against them.

Stone and Eichel maintained their impressive form, achieving points in seven of Vegas' eight games so far. Stone leads with 14 points, followed closely by Eichel with 13.

The combined goals from Hertl and Kolesar, along with Barbashev's final empty-net goal, were crucial in sealing the win.

With an unbeaten 5-0-0 home record, Vegas looks forward to their next game against San Jose on Saturday, while Ottawa preps to face Colorado on Sunday.
