Edmonton Oilers News & Updates

Noah Hanifin netted two goals, helping the Vegas Golden Knights come back to secure a 4-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night.

Jack Eichel contributed with a goal and two assists, and Mark Stone also found the back of the net for the Golden Knights. This marked their first victory on the road for the season, and they have now won six of their last seven games. Adin Hill was solid in goal with 27 saves.

The Oilers saw Brett Kulak and Zach Hyman score, but they have now faced defeat in two consecutive games. Their goalie, Stuart Skinner, made 31 saves during the match.

William Karlsson has been consistent for the Golden Knights, earning at least one point in every game he has participated in so far this season, totaling five games.

In an unexpected move, Connor McDavid took to the ice for the Oilers just nine days after an ankle injury, but he did not register any points in the game.

With less than a minute on the clock, Ivan Barbashev passed the puck to Hanifin, who then scored his second goal of the third period, securing the win.

Hyman continued his impressive streak against Vegas, scoring his third goal in four games and marking a trend with five goals in his last six matchups against them.

The Golden Knights are set to play in Seattle on Friday, while the Oilers are scheduled to compete in Vancouver on Saturday.
