Roope Hintz, the Dallas Stars winger, will be absent from Game 5 against the Avalanche because of an injury to his upper body.
With the Stars currently leading the series with a 3-1 advantage, they are on the brink of clinching the series. Hintz, a pivotal player in the playoffs, was injured during the fourth game.
The team's coach, Pete DeBoer, has confirmed that Hintz will not be playing and also shared that Chris Tanev, a defenseman who was injured in Game 4, will be making a comeback in Game 5. Radek Faksa is set to fill in for Hintz, marking his first appearance since Game 1.
