The Golden State Warriors have now won eight consecutive games after a commanding win against the Charlotte Hornets. Stephen Curry was the standout performer, contributing 31 points and handing out 9 assists.
The Warriors began the game with intense energy, quickly establishing a 15-point lead. Curry was in exceptional form, making several three-pointers and assisting teammates with easy scoring opportunities.
Although the Hornets attempted to match the Warriors, they struggled against Golden State's strong defense, which created numerous turnovers and limited the Hornets to a 30% shooting rate in the first half.
The second half mirrored the first, with Curry maintaining his exceptional performance and receiving key support from Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson. The Warriors secured a 123-100 win, reinforcing their leading position in the Western Conference standings.
LaMelo Ball was the Hornets' top scorer with 19 points, but this was not enough to overcome the Warriors' dominance. Golden State's defense was notably effective, restricting the Hornets to their lowest score of the season.
Following this victory, the Warriors' record improves to 23-5, while the Hornets' record drops to 10-16. Golden State aims to continue their success against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, while the Hornets will seek to bounce back against the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
