Hurricanes Sign Seth Jarvis to Long-Term $63.2 Million Deal

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward Seth Jarvis to an eight-year contract worth $63.2 million.

This agreement includes signing bonuses exceeding $29.2 million for the player who was the 13th overall pick in 2020. General manager Eric Tulsky lauded Jarvis as a cornerstone player with the potential to be a future star.

At 22 years old, Jarvis has become instrumental in Carolina's six-season playoff streak. He achieved career bests with 33 goals, 67 points, and other noteworthy statistics. Despite battling injuries, he demonstrated resilience and high-level performance.

The Hurricanes have experienced changes during the offseason but were successful in finalizing contracts with talented young players such as Martin Necas and Jaccob Slavin. The team remains competitive under the leadership of coach Rod Brind'Amour.
