Zach Hyman led the Edmonton Oilers to a stunning 8-3 win against the Buffalo Sabres, overturning an initial two-goal disadvantage with his pair of goals.
Adding to the team's firepower, Mattias Ekholm netted two goals and an assist, and Leon Draisaitl contributed with one goal and two assists. Goals were also scored by Darnell Nurse, Ryan McLeod, and Connor Brown, while Stuart Skinner defended the net effectively, making 26 saves.
