Boston Bruins News & Updates

Jake DeBrusk returned to Boston and led the Vancouver Canucks to a 2-0 win against the Bruins, scoring a power-play goal. Kevin Lankinen achieved a shutout with 32 saves.

Conor Garland provided an assist for DeBrusk's goal and later scored an empty-net goal near the end of the game. Since joining the Canucks in the offseason, DeBrusk has been on a strong scoring run, accumulating 16 points in November.

Lankinen stopped 24 shots in the last two periods, skillfully blocking a close attempt from Brad Marchand. This victory marks his second shutout this season.

Despite Brock Boeser's return to the Canucks' lineup, Jeremy Swayman only managed to make 13 saves for Boston.

The Canucks have now extended their road winning streak to eight games. In contrast, under the leadership of Joe Sacco following Jim Montgomery's removal, the Bruins' record slipped to 2-1.

The Vancouver power play was highly effective, preventing Boston from capitalizing on their four power-play opportunities.

Vancouver's physical style and strategic blocking of shots played a key role in securing their win.

Next, the Canucks will go up against Pittsburgh, while the Bruins are set to face the Islanders in New York.
