The Washington Capitals have brought experienced forward Jakub Vrana back into the team with a one-year deal valued at $775,000. Vrana, originally drafted by the Capitals in 2014, launched his NHL career with Washington, contributing to their Stanley Cup victory in 2018.
The 28-year-old from the Czech Republic spent the 2023-24 season with the St. Louis Blues, where he achieved two goals and four assists over 21 games.
Throughout his career, Vrana has accumulated 209 points, comprising 110 goals and 99 assists, across 367 games for teams such as the Capitals, Detroit Red Wings, and Blues.
