Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor each netted two goals, and Connor Hellebuyck stopped 33 shots as the Winnipeg Jets secured their seventh consecutive victory, defeating the New York Rangers 6-3 on Tuesday evening.
Gabriel Vilardi and Vladislav Namestnikov also found the net for the Jets, who have triumphantly claimed 15 out of their first 16 matches.
For the Rangers, Will Cuylle, Alexis Lafreniere, and Kaapo Kakko scored, marking their second consecutive loss on home ice.

Scheifele opened the scoring just 57 seconds into the game, but Cuylle leveled the score at 13:07 in the first period. Vilardi restored the Jets' lead with a power play goal at 8:58, but Lafreniere equalized again at 12:51 in the second. Connor gave the Jets a decisive lead at 16:03 of the second period. Scheifele struck again just 1:08 into the third period, marking his ninth goal of the season, although Kakko quickly reduced the gap to 4-3 just 32 seconds later. Namestnikov added his fifth goal at 13:08, and Connor sealed the triumph with an empty-net goal with 20 seconds remaining.
Igor Shesterkin recorded 27 saves for the Rangers during the match.
Winnipeg has maintained an unbeaten streak on the road with seven consecutive wins.
Hellebuyck made a crucial save at 4:50 of the second period against Reilly Smith and managed to stop Chris Kreider from scoring during a power play later in the period.
