Winnipeg Jets News & Updates

Cole Perfetti found the back of the net twice and Kyle Connor dished out three assists, helping the Winnipeg Jets snap their six-game slide with a 4-3 win against the Los Angeles Kings this Monday.

Perfetti secured the lead with a power-play goal shortly into the third period, scoring it right as their advantage on the ice came to an end, only two seconds past the expiration.

Contributions also came from Josh Morrissey and Sean Monahan on the scoring front for the Jets, while goaltender Laurent Brossoit stopped 25 shots. On the opposing side, Viktor Arvidsson, Kevin Fiala, and Anze Kopitar scored for the Kings, who are experiencing their third consecutive defeat.

Leading into this game, both squads were facing challenges, with the Jets not securing a win in their six previous attempts and the Kings on a losing streak of three games.

After ending the first period at a tie and the second period locked at 3-3, it was Perfetti's goal that ultimately secured the victory for the Jets.

Looking ahead, the Kings are set to play host to Seattle come Wednesday night, whereas the Jets will conclude their five-game homestand with a game against Calgary on Thursday.
