Jiri Kulich clinched an overtime win for the Buffalo Sabres, leading them to a 3-2 triumph over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night.

Buffalo's Owen Power was initially stopped by Anaheim's John Gibson during a breakaway, but Kulich seized the opportunity on the rebound, achieving his second goal of the season and putting an end to the Ducks' three-game winning streak.

Peyton Krebs and Jason Zucker also found the net for Buffalo, with Owen Power contributing two assists and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen making 23 saves.

For Anaheim, Drew Helleson and Isac Lundestrom scored, while Gibson made 31 saves.

Notable points include Buffalo missing Tage Thompson due to injury and Trevor Zegras providing three assists in the Ducks' last two games.

A pivotal moment occurred when Krebs and Zucker scored goals just 50 seconds apart in the second period, leveling the score at 2-2. This season, Buffalo has scored twice within a minute six times, matching the record held by the Kings.

The Sabres' streak of power-play goals in seven consecutive games came to an end, marking the end of the longest such run by any team this season.

Looking ahead, the Sabres will play in San Jose on Saturday, and the Ducks are set to host Seattle on Monday.
