Jordan Kyrou and Blues Overcome Tampa Bay as Binnington Climbs Franchise Ranks

Jordan Kyrou, Alexey Toropchenko, and Oskar Sundqvist guided the St. Louis Blues to a narrow win of 3-2 against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday evening.

Jordan Binnington achieved his 149th career victory by making 21 saves, moving past Jake Allen to claim second place in the franchise's history for the Blues.

The Lightning saw goals from Nick Perbix and Victor Hedman, and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 20 saves.

In the third period, Kyrou secured the game-winning goal, with earlier contributions from Toropchenko and Sundqvist.

Missing from the Lightning lineup was center Brayden Point, whose recent performances have been crucial for the team.

The Blues managed to cope with the absence of Dylan Holloway, who suffered a neck injury from a puck hit in the first period and had to exit on a stretcher. He is reported to be alert and stable.

St. Louis has notably improved their record to 5-4-0 when the opposing team scores first, showing great progress from the previous season.

Upcoming games will see the Lightning hosting Philadelphia on Thursday, while the Blues will face Utah.
