Vancouver Canucks News & Updates

During a match against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, Brock Boeser from Vancouver left the ice in the first period due to a head check by Tanner Jeannot.

Boeser was moving through the neutral zone when Jeannot carried out the illegal hit, which led to a match penalty. Although he did not expect the check, Boeser was able to leave the ice without assistance.

Currently, Boeser is the leading scorer for Vancouver, with six goals and 11 points. In the previous season, he achieved personal bests with 40 goals and 73 points.

Conor Garland took advantage of the five-minute power play and evened the score at 1-1 during the first period.
