The Golden State Warriors secured their fourth NBA title in eight years by overcoming the Boston Celtics in six games.
In Game 6, Stephen Curry was pivotal for the Warriors with a 34-point showing, Klay Thompson contributed 25 points, and Draymond Green added 12 points alongside 12 rebounds. For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum topped the score sheet with 30 points, with Jaylen Brown scoring 24.
The Warriors established a nine-point lead by halftime, but the Celtics surged back in the third quarter, taking a two-point advantage into the final period. The Warriors regained momentum, and Curry sank a key three-pointer with a little over two minutes left, extending their lead to five points.
Despite the Celtics missing several shots in the closing moments, the Warriors maintained their advantage and triumphed with a final score of 103-90. Curry was honored as the NBA Finals MVP, achieving an average of 31.2 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists across the series.
