On Saturday night, the Seattle Seahawks emerged victorious over the Green Bay Packers with a score of 28-23 in an exciting Wild Card game. Although the Packers initially took the lead, the Seahawks managed to turn the game around, securing a 14-10 advantage by halftime.
In the third quarter, the Seahawks widened their lead to 21-10. However, the Packers narrowed the gap to 21-16 as the game moved into the fourth quarter. The Seahawks once again extended their lead by scoring a touchdown that brought the score to 28-16.
The Packers responded by making it a one-score game through a touchdown and a two-point conversion, yet they were unable to retrieve an onside kick with a little over two minutes left on the clock. The Seahawks successfully ran out the remaining time to clinch the win.
In this matchup, Geno Smith of the Seahawks threw for 238 yards and completed two touchdown passes, while Aaron Rodgers of the Packers threw for 205 yards and also achieved two touchdown passes.
